What are the hardware requirements for this application?
|
This solution requires hardware hosting for three separate elements:
- An IIS Server with .NET 2.0 extenstions
- SQL database for the application and FDB.
- One or multiple servers can host the components, as long as the server(s) have sufficient
operating speed and capacity

What if we do not have a clinical documentation system (or) our system does not
have the ability to record home medication profiles?
|
- HealthTek Software Solutions has developed a home medication
repository to store and update the home medication information.
- Home medications are updated upon completing a discharge
reconciliation.

Will your application work with my system?
|
- This solution is customizable to most IT systems. In
order to integrate with
your existing Clinical Documentation, Pharmacy, or other modules, those applications
must have accessible data, with database queries provided in plain text format.

Can the application pull information from more than one system?
|
- Yes - as long as the databases are accessible, with
queries provided in plain text format.
- This may require additional integration time.

Can it generate the prescriptions for us?
|
- Yes. RxRECONCILE generates hard
copy prescriptions customizable to your facility
and physicians, as allowable by state regulatory requirements.

Will RxRECONCILE generate a document to give to the patient?
|
- Yes. An output document is generated at the point of
discharge, recording
the updated home medication profile in patient friendly descriptions and terms.
- In addition, a physician copy and a bar-coded medical
record copy are generated.
The printout is immediate to any networked printer.

Can RxRECONCILE address all points of reconciliation during
a patient stay?
|
- Yes. RxRECONCILE contains multi-phase
reconciliation to address Admission,
Discharge, and Transfer reconciliation.

Can you send information from RxRECONCILE to our clinical
system?
|
- Yes. An HL7 outbound will occur at each reconciliation
to generate admission
transfer and/or discharge orders.

How long does installation of your application take?
|
- Most facilities should be able to implement the solution
within 4-6 weeks.
- Based on the variances in facility applications, operating
systems, release levels,
hardware and network structure - each facility implementation is unique.
- Most facilities require a 1-3 week installation period,
followed by testing,
training, pilot implementation, and go-live. Other factors impacting the implementation
timeline are: the number of sources of medication information, existence of system
modifications, customization forms, number of end users, training structure, and
so on.

What level of support will you provide for this application after implementation?
|
- HealthTek includes a 12-month support agreement with
each implementation.
- In addition, HealthTek will provide system documentation,
and train your designated system analysts
for front-line support to your end-users. In the event an issue exists within the
RxRECONCILE
application itself, HealthTek will provide a resource to resolve that issue immediately.
- Each facility assumes responsibility for all hardware
and network support needs.
